Complete impact web systems Managers Console
With each impact web systems store you will have access to all of the design, editing, and management features that are available with each impact web systems web site. Your store will feature a ecommerce tab inside your Managers Console. Use the Ecommerce tab to manage your product catalog, and view orders online.
Product Catalog
Easily setup and maintain your product catalog with a impact web systems. From your Managers Console you can create categories of products and manage the product list that is available within each category. You have the flexibility to add your products anywhere on your site. Once they are added they are automatically linked with your shopping cart.
Shopping Cart
You shopping cart is preprogrammed to work with your product catalog. When shoppers click to buy an item it will be added to their cart. The shopping cart is linked to the secure checkout area. Tax calculations, shipping using the USPS and UPS automated shipping calculators, and integration with 24 of the countries largest merchant account processors gateways is included.
Order Management
You will automatically be notified via email of new orders on your web site. To view your orders simply login to your site, click the customers/stats tab, and click view orders. You can view them online, print them out, or export them to a data file.

Your eStore is designed to run 24 hours a day 7 days a week in a totally automated and unattended fashion. This includes capturing the order and processing your customer's credit card information in a real time fashion and emailing you a copy of the order confirmation for fulfillment.
However in order to accept credit cards from your customers you will need a merchant account and a processing gateway system supported by impact web systems. We have negotiated with the merchant account processors and now offer these services to our system users that qualify for a one time setup cost of $199 that's up to $200 off our regular setup cost! You will need to complete a simple application process to get approved to accept credit cards. The application only takes about 30 minutes, but the review and approval process will take a few days to accomplish, so please plan accordingly and give yourself some extra time to get everything in place (1-2 weeks recommended). Once approved, enabling your store to accept credit cards is simple and only takes a couple of seconds. Your impact web systems site already has the linkage to several gateways built right into it so there is no programming or code for you to worry about.
Your credit card processing fees will depend upon the number and dollar amount of your transactions.
In addition, your Gateway provider, usually charges $10 per month for its gateway services. Along with the processing of your credit cards in an efficient, fast, real-time fashion you will also receive a virtual terminal. This is simply a location on the server where you can log-in and then key-in and process transactions manually should you need to. Here are a few examples of when you might need this:
- Your customer places an order at your store but prefers to call you with his credit card info. You can process the charge right from your browser in the VT.
- You decide to attend a trade show and take a few orders while you are there. The VT will let you processing on the spot so long as you have Internet connection from a computer or Palm Pilot.
- A customer returns an item. You can process the credit right in the VT.
There is a great deal of difference in the quality of both merchant providers and gateway providers.
